It’s been a good week for me. I lost 2 lbs this week. I’m now at 193. Between Steve, Allan and Charlie. Can’t forget Ron too. I have gotten back on track and have learned that this is possible with a bit more dedication.
Part 1, the weight…good, it’s moving.
Part 2, the exercise…it was good but not on the schedule I figured out. I never looked at Jillian or Bob. I did crunch and planks twice this week. I did squats, stretching, counter top push ups and bend-over’s every day. I did the Wii twice and walk/jogging three times. I don’t keep track of time but adding it up in my head it’s about 180 minutes or so in exercise. So this is good.
Part 3, the menu…well it’s not on paper but I did figure out with what was in the cupboards what we are having for the week, just not what days. So this is so-so.
Well there you have it, my update. There’s 56 days left in this year. Still plenty of time to achieve what you have planned. Oh I may not get to my goal but it sure won’t be because I haven’t given it my all.
Thank you Steve for hosting this great challenge.

Congrats on the nice loss, It really does take a lifestyle change in order to succeed!
Very nice loss! :D
I have an idea with the menu. It may work for you, it may not. I figure out 3-4 meals a week that I want to cook but I don't assign days. Instead in the morning I look to see what is going on and what's left to cook up. Then I get to choose dinner. I also have at least 2 quick stand by meals and I try to leave 1-2 days for leftovers. I found when I did assign certain days to certain meals it usually backfired on me. So I've eventually adapted to something that works for us!
Happy Friday!! Keep up the excellent progress!!! :D
That's a wonderful report (and encouragement, too.) I needed it more than you know. Thanks for reminding me that I just need to begin my healthier journey - again!
Thanks for stopping by and following me at Jeremiah 29:11...I've been following your site for quite some time...as I seem to have been on a diet all my life...and I enjoy reading your suggestions!! Congrats on the loss!!! That's awesome!! If you get a chance, look at my page...Weight Loss Journey...my face has shrunk a bit!!! :)
Excellent on the weight loss! You're doing so well and I love reading from you every week!
I agree with Twix, just figure out a few meals and then make them whenever during the week, then you know you have the ingredients and somewhat of a plan. I often do that. I'll plan my week but then if I didn't pull my roast out of the oven, I switch to tomorrows meal which doesn't require meat or anything. So I don't stick with mine 100%. Keep it up!
Congrats on the loss!!

I really admire your commitment. I need a bit more of that. I'm trying to make up for lost time in this Hot 100 days. Still plenty of time.
I wish you continued success. You have such a great attitude, I can feel your energy through your post.
Congrats, Julie--you're doing so great! I am thrilled that you are now in "onederland." :) Keep up the good work!
Congratulations on the loss Julie! It sure feels good to be entrenching yourself further and further into onederland, doesn't it?
I love your statement - I may not get to my goal but it sure won’t be because I haven’t given it my all.
That is nothing short of AWESOME. I love it!
