Exercise and fruit cobbler…

101_1568

I made a apple blueberry cobbler today and tried to make it as good for us as possible. I used Banana Nut Crunch cereal that was stale, about a cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup tub-o-butter and a couple hand full of quick oats. Then fresh/frozen (from my uncles tree) apples and frozen blueberries. It all fit into a 9”x13” pan. It can’t be to high in all the wrong stuff, oh I know not perfect either but I have to tell you I am in the need of something that’s on the iffy list. I don’t want to be bad or fall back but just a small cup of this stuff should do the trick plus I know that Jim and Mike will be in heaven having something hot and fresh. I also made them scalloped potatoes and ham but I don’t have to fret about that, there’s no way I’d eat that. I’m thinking a hamburger pattie from farm beef that’s 99% and a fresh salad.

I’ve been using the fitclick and it has made life much easier keeping track of calories and all. It’s only been three days but I know that today I’ve only had 494 calories, 65 grams of carbs, 38 grams protein, 9 grams of fat and 87 mg of cholesterol. I can have a decent meal tonight and not worry about going over. Love it!!!

Today I really, really worked out. I did the shred for 20 minutes and then my new PS2 interactive exercise. I did that one for the 20 minutes and then decided to just play the exercise games as a guest for another 20 minutes. This is the longest I’ve ever worked out and I have some areas the I’m really feeling it like between the shoulders and neck but not bad pain just workout kind. My arm is still bothering me but it’s slowly getting better. It’s like when I tore the rotator cuff 7 years or so ago. It just took forever and the pain is about the same so am just waiting to see if it’ll heal itself again.

So that’s life here on my going to be new me one day. Oh I heard two quotes today I am going to share with you. I don’t know what show I was sorta watching while baking but a man on a diet was having great difficulties and his coach said…..

1. Don’t think you can’t, think that you can before you even do it.

2. Your only limited by your mind.

I think that is a great motivator if I do say so myself.

Take care my friends, good luck on your journey. God Bless!!!
