Now for a question………Why is it that Post Grape Nuts is so good for you but it is so high in carbs? Even the list of ingredients have all the good for you stuff but by time I’m done with my breakfast I have used a good chuck of my carbs for the day. I do admit I don’t eat the 1/2 cup I eat a full cup with milk but that is my breakfast and will hold me until my salad at 1:00 or so but it’s suppose to be good for me. I so love them and that fact they keep me filled up is the best.
Today I was checking into the good/bad carbs…I have a list I copied out just to learn from…it looks like this…

Just about everything on there I like except that brown rice and whole-grain pasta…I think they are a required taste. Oh I don’t like the cabbage or cauliflower either, okra I’ve never tried, strawberries hate me but the list of things I do like it at least longer then the don’t.
Oh well I’m learning. I have been keeping track all week on fitclick daily food diary and I’m always under my 1500 calories and I’m learning to add more protein but less fat and so far it’s so good. Hard but good. I always thought I was doing pretty good but when you right it all done you realize you’re not anywhere near what you thought you were. So I’m learning.
Well tonight will be a challenge. It’s pizza night with my scouts. I have already figured in my daily diet about what I figured I’ll be eating and then planned lunch accordingly. I’ve never planned that far ahead, I usually just do meal by meal. I added up 3 pieces of pizza, my grape nuts, my milk and a salad with tomato and cucumbers a dab of dressing and that will be today’s eats. I’ll live and still get to be apart of our game pizza night without feeling left out.
So that is that today. It’s early dismissal for my DC kids and we are having a birthday party for Abby. YEAH!!! I love my little ones.
