Saturday…

I am so glad the weekend is here. It wasn’t a terrible week but not the greatest either. We got power back after 3 hours and then the day just got more interesting. My little wee one ended up with the flu. Thank goodness it was after the power came back on cuz cleaning up throw up without running water wouldn’t of been fun.

I did get to go workout last night and go swimming. We had my nephew with us so Mike and Scott got to swim for a long time while I worked out. Which by the way, I went 3 miles in 42:30. It’s just a little over a 14 minute mile. I’ll take it. I then went swimming too. I’ve been trying to swim laps, I can only do 4 laps on my back with a back stroke.

Today is my weigh in…. 186, down 2 lbs. Not the best but I’ll take it, especially with the week I had. Just my period but one from hell with cravings and hungry I haven’t had in a very long time. I wrote Allan at least twice asking for help. His post yesterday was interesting, all about mental will power. I’m lacking in that at times. Not that I’m heading for the chocolate, or the breads or the not so good for you stuff. Just heading for the food. Could be an apples, banana, glass of V-8, nothing bad but something that would fill the hole. Last year this time, well it wouldn’t of been the good stuff. Next week I’m going to work on my mental will power along with my everything else.

I hope that you have a great weekend. Jim is on his way home to take me out for lunch. Nothing fantastic but time out with just Jim, I love it. Take care my friends and have a blessed weekend.

I am glad about the running water, too! Phew. Thank Goodness for little blessings. :)

I don't know about the weight loss, but I love your routine, your regime and your dedication. You're going to ace it!

Sounds to me like you are doing well to get in the exercise during some difficulties. Certainly weather that is frightening. And you lost 2 pounds. Nothing at all to feel short on about that. Feel good about that loss and welcome the challenge of a new week.

Keep up the good work, and best of luck on working on your will power. One thing I keep reminding myself about is that getting healthy now, and staying healthy, will make my later years better....fewer doctors, less disease

I love Allan - but there's no way to describe the pms carb cravings to him. As long as I am working out and eating healty, I go ahead and have more HEALTHY carbs on those couple days. I also can't have any crackers or anything like that around cause I can't seem to keep my gubby little hands out of there lol. Kashi with Activia and blueberries has saved me more times than I can count.
