Personal best…

At least that’s what Lance Armstrong said on my iTouch today. I walked/jogged 5.58km in 40:08. Then I rode the exercise bike for 3 miles for 11 minutes. This is the first time I was on that bike so not sure if that’s good, bad or indifferent but I know when I was done, I was done. My blood sugar drop so bad I just about blacked out and felt like throwing up. It was my fault, I know better. I always eat before I go and exercise, though this morning I left 6:00 so a bit earlier then sometimes and mama was taking me out for brunch and didn’t want to use up my calories for breakfast. Yep, I know stupid. I’ll learn. I did manage to work out a bit longer but not nearly as long as I wanted to but there’s another workout happening on Saturday.

I have a huge NSV to tell you about today. Today I saw my chiropractor (I went cuz I can’t shake this migraine and thought just maybe something else might of been wrong, it was … an nerve pinched in my neck) he hasn’t seen me since last September and boy you’d of thought I had won the lottery the way he treated me. He was so happy, impressed, wow’d and more that I looked so good. He made me feel like a princess. It was awesome for a doctor to make me feel like that.

My migraine is easing up, not totally gone yet but hopefully very soon. I hate the feelings, not just the hurt but it makes me feel weird too. I think this is one of the longest I have in years.

So it’s onward and upwards on Allan's Challenge. How are you doing? Winter getting to you? Food looking yummy? Exercise boring? Well it’s that time of year but you have the choice to sit there and hate the rest of winter or get up and get moving. Next week is the beginning of my Winter Melt Down Challenge at my health club. I have to weigh in on their scale which of course isn’t going to be the same as mine but it’s a number and as long as that number goes down, that’s all that matters. I am afraid to join the Mini Triathlon because I’m not a bike rider or a swimmer but it’s a challenge and what better month then boring old February to be challenged. All I can do is give it my all and see where it takes me.

Take care my friends and have a blessed evening and a terrific Friday.

Winter getting to you? Yes, hate it!

Food looking yummy? Always, food will always look amazing to me. Made pork stir fry tonight loaded with veggies & it was awesone!

Exercise boring? Sometimes yes & other times not. I did my free weight routine tonight before dinner & it was a blast!

Awesome! You're having a great week! Nice compliment from the chiropractor! I discovered that I have lost 11 pounds since starting the Wii Fit! And now, Zumba is kicking my butt! That's probably where the 11 pounds went! LOL

I am so glad your chiro gave you the props you deserve!!!! AND, I hope that he helped the pinched nerve and the migraine is on its way OUT. I get those a few times a year, but they've never lasted more than a day or two--I feel for you!!!
Keep up the great work on the diet/exercise front (just dont black out--used to do the same, hoard my calories to go out for a special meal and/or drinks though!).
Have a wonderful night Julie!

Oooh, you mean that totally rocking NSV didn't make your headache go away INSTANTLY? Do you have bone spurs in your neck maybe? I may have missed why you have migraines somewhere in the past... Hope your head chills out!

So sorry to hear that your migraine is still troubling you. I know exactly what you mean by not feeling right. I finally started seeing a neurologist (about 5 years ago) and she has really helped me get them under control so they do not control me.

GREAT NSV!!!!

Yes, you MUST eat before you workout.. especially if you haven't eaten since the night before! For me, timing when I eat makes all the difference in my workouts. I can't even imagine trying to hop on the treadmill on an empty stomach. Of course I'm always starving in the morning when I wake up anyway..

Hope you have a great weekend!! xoxox

I am so glad you got treated like a princess!! I am beaming ear to ear here!! :D :D

Next time you'll eat before exercising, so I'm happy just with that. :)

I had to google NSV- non scale victory, it said. I learned something. Haha!!
