In mid-northern Minnesota that is. Not the warmest weather we’ve ever had but sure is saving on the electric bill with no air conditioning.
We finally got to go fishing. Really I got to go fishing, both my guys don’t fish but they took me. I caught one bass so not a great catch but two hours out on the water, it was amazing.
This week has been hard for my diet and exercise. I am tired, stressed and did I say tired? When I go to bed at night my sleep is full of nightmares….last night everyone was getting killed. Night before that, we were all lost. No sleep makes for long days and either to tired to eat and exercise or over stimulated so eating at the top of my calorie count and running myself ragged. I need to find a happy medium. I will!! Life isn’t easy but you know it’s not suppose to be, what’s life without some challenges?
I hope that you all are doing well with you life style changes. I have 5.2 lbs to goal. So close, I’m excited to get to the end of this and start my next phase in life. Onward and upwards (downwards really).
Take care and God Bless!!

Sounds like a great day! I really hope you can get some good rest soon. Nightmares are the worst. Makes you feel strange all over when you don't get enough rest. Hope it gets better for you!! You are doing great!! You can kick those 5.2lbs!! :)
Maybe you can get some naps in each day? Hope things get better and that you are able to get the rest that you need. I would go to the internet and do some searching on nightmares to try to discover what's causing this. Take care.
You ARE close to goal. Those last few pounds can be tough to get off but just keep on keeping on. :)
I envy you all those lakes up there.
I'm sorry about the nightmares, Julie. I go through stags where I have dreams like that too. Thankfully, not lately. I hope they pass.
Fishing sounds fun. I haven't been in year but then, Dail hasn't had the time. He works so many hours that I just can't get him to fit it in. All our equipment is in storage right now anyway.
Wishing you a great day.
Hi Julie, Thanks for visiting my blog. I've been enjoying reading yours as well. :)
I love how you are looking on the positive side of things about this summer with saving on air conditioning! I want the sun and heat though!
Awesome on only having those 5 lbs to go! Woohoo!
Life does seem to happen in ways that test us sometimes, that's for certain. But I am certain that you will adjust and persevere because you are Julie the wonder woman! Not to mention my idol!
Sleep can definitely have a huge impact on your weight loss process. I've been having trouble sleeping recently and it really affects my ability to exercise or desire to not just eat whatever is in sight. So frustrating! What are you doing to deal with this now?
You have a lot on your mind that permeates your sleep. It just is awful not to sleep well, which is all the more reason to exercise. When I have a lot on my mind, I find that good exercise helps me. Maybe this is true for you, too. But fishing (although I do not) is very calming too. At least my hubby says that.
Stay strong my friend, you will find some answers soon.
As I began blogging, I was searching for beginning bloggers to network with, but soon found out that those that have been on the journey and are close to their goals are very special to follow. I love the happy moments shared.
