Well I knew the scale wasn’t going to move this week, it’s just not happening during that TOM for me but you know something else, it didn’t gain the 3 lbs either so just maybe next weeks weigh will have those 3 lbs gone and maybe another one or two. I’ll try, try as hard as I can and just wait and see.
I did something different today during my work out. I rode the bike 3 different times for 20 minutes each time riding 5 miles each time and my feet didn’t go to sleep. My butt was sore by the last round but it wasn’t numb either. So for now I guess that’s what I’ll do, just break up the rides. Got something else to show you too. Check this out…
2 miles in 17 minutes. I ran at 5 mph the full time except for 100 meters at 6 mph. I can do this, and this was after riding the bike for 15 miles and do all the weight circuit. Oh to be honest I did have to slow to 3 mph to take a couple of drinks since I am not graceful enough to try to run and drink.
Now another good thing, I did my measurements for the month and lost 5 3/4 more inches of fat. 1 off my upper arms, 3/4 off my lower arms, 1 from my bust, 1 from my waist, 1 from my hips and 1 from my thighs. That totals out to 53” of fat off this body of mine.
So it’s onwards and upwards or really downwards on the scale and measuring tape. Only 64 more days until my anniversary and my wedding dress.
Take care my friends and I hope the scale is friendly to you but remember what Allan says, stick to the plan, drink the water and some weeks the scale is nice, other times not so much but it will move just stick to the plan.
God bless you all!!

Julie, stop looking at the scale... Believe me, its all in how u feel.. Ignore the scale.. at least for a few days.. Start weighing at the beginning of the week and then at the end.. If you are following your diet and exercise, there is no need to constantly looking at the scale... There will be a time when u will have to change up the exercise because the exercise will peak out- meaning u will have to add more intensity otherwise u will just maintain..
Great job on losing almost 6 inches! That's fantastic! Cheers, Rick
Sounds like you are doing great.... keep it up!!!!
Julie, Hang in there. You are doing great no matter what the scale says this week. You are doing exactly right by sticking to the plan.
Big congrats on losing all those inches!!! WOW! You are doing good sista!
Yes, let's stick with it and it pans out in the end. Persistence IS the key!

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. And 5 3/4 inches is so terrific for you. I'm so proud and happy for you. Do you know how many people make loads of excuses to NOT be fit! You are fantastic!
Julie!! You are a hottie. I am saluting to you for running & biking during that TOM. You are fantabulous! I'm so proud! Woah. Go girl!!! (Okay, now I'm screaming here. Haha!!)
Running at 5 mph is awesome!!!!
I'll say that as good as it is for the scale to go down, sometimes it is just as nice for it to not move at all. :-)
Have a blessed day!

I know how you feel. I am a very slow loser. But have lost 17 lbs in 17 weeks. It really is making a difference now with the way my clothes fit and I feel so much healthier now! Look at the non-scale victories and be proud of the daily accomplishments towards your goal. It's a journey for sure! Keep up the good work and thanks for visiting my blog!!
I just discovered your site after visiting Michele's blog and I'm certainly glad I stopped by. Congratulations on your 48 pounds lost and the many inches lost. I love your 400 mile walking challenge for 2011 and all the fun stuff here on your blog. I'm a fan now and will definitely be back! Stick with the plan... Good advice.
Blessings. Jackie
