That is my personal best for a 5K. I did that today. I know it’s not a record breaker but for me it was. I haven’t been able to exercise for 9 days so today I went and kicked butt. I worked hard, I sweated hard and when I was done was ready to take the world by it’s tail. I am proud of me. Now to keep this pace up and get better each week. I can do this.
The weather is cold (-10 when I left) and everything is ice covered. No matter I went today but here’s what our roads are looking like.
This is my road heading to the highway.
This is the road heading from the gym.
I am drinking my water, 1.5 gallons a day, eating really close to the 1200 calories a day and back to working out. I don’t expect the scale to move much this week since I’m just getting back into the groove but next week I should see some big changes. Or at least I’ll be giving it my best no matter what.
I hope you all are doing excellent with your new year resolutions, ideas, thoughts and challenges. It’s a new year, a new month, a new day to do what you know you should to become the more healthier you.
Good luck, take care and God Bless you all my friends!!

ReplyDeleteKudo's for the great workout! Your time was amazing, and yes you kicked some major butt today.
I can not believe you had the fortitude to leave in negative degree weather! Heck, I would still be under the comforter shaking like a leaf.
