The good part is, you have shocked your body and as you go back to the life style change, it may give your metabolism a boost. I've read that after so long, your body gets used to your way of eating, thus causing you to plateau in weightloss because it has adjusted. Just a thought.<br /><br />Anyway, the best thing about a sunrise? It means it is a new day to start over! Means more to me than you'll know. <br />And as for the weight loss...don't give up there either. I am NOT one of those that the weight slips off easily...oh no. I have to work at it. And, I love to eat, and eat at night. Food is my one comfort. Sigh. So, I have gained weight back during this process only to have to get back on track and try again. It's a life long process the way I look at it. And, I caution you not to make exercise your "god" in this weight loss. Exercise to make you feel better and your body a healthier temple for God's use, not to become an idol. I know you aren't...but it's a balance. Ask God to control your eating and your portions, and your exercising. It will come off. And this time...it's permanent!!!! I am rooting for you lady. I believe you can't com...You are doing great!!<br /> I believe you can't completly deprive yourself of sweets because then your mind/body crave them so much more. I keep a bowl of fresh fruit and candy out at all times in our house. (I know a lot of people are going, WHAT??) it works, the kids only have a couple pieces a week and so do I. They naturally just go for the fruit, because the candy is always there. <br />Thats my secret that I use :) And it does take a while for your mind and body to adjust to that it is always there. <br /><br />I photo tagged you on my blog. But I don't watch what goes in my mouth. <br /><br />You have been doing great. Don't get too hard on yourself. You can do this, and your weigh in will be fine. <br /><br />I also like the idea of you doing it more than once a month. I think it will be more beneficial to you.
